The Orange County Inmate Search is an online database service provided by the Orange County Sheriff's Office, which allows you to search for information about inmates who are currently in custody or have been released in the last 30 days. The Sheriff's Office is responsible for updating the information in the database. However, because the information can change quickly, sometimes the information accessed by the users may not be accurate or correct. If you want to use the information, please confirm it with relevant entities first.

How to Use Inmate Search to Find Inmates in Orange County Jail?

To get the most precise search result, you need to enter the first name, middle name, last name, and age in the relevant search fields, select the sex of the inmate, and click the "Search" button. If you are not sure of the spelling of the inmate's name, you can enter part of the first name, middle name, or last name (each one is at least one letter) in the search fields. A list of the inmate records will be displayed on the page. You will see the date of birth, booking number, and custody status of the inmate.

Please note that the search results will exactly match what you enter and partially match the letters you enter as well. For example, if you enter the letters "RO" in the search field of last name, the inmates with the last name "ROSE" and "RIOS" will be both shown.

To see details about the inmate, click the link of the booking number. You can see the inmate's date of birth, sex, race, height, weight, hair color, eye color, occupation, next appearance date, next appearance court, custody status, bail amount, arrested date, and housing location.

Orange County Jail Visitation

Each inmate has two visit chances every week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday) and each each visit lasts a minimum of 30 minutes. Two adults and two minors are allowed to visit one inmate.

Visitors need to make an appointment for the visit. To schedule a visit, call the scheduling number listed below from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Make sure to schedule the appointment at least 24 hours in advance. The booking number of the inmate you want to visit is necessary when calling to schedule. You can get the booking number by the Orange County Inmate Search.

Visitors should line up outside the lobby fifteen minutes before the scheduled time and show valid photo identification (government-issued ID).
