The Tehama County Jail was built in 1974 with additions completed in 1994. It is located at 502 Oak Street (corner of Oak & Madison) in Red Bluff, California, housing both sentenced and pre-sentenced inmates with a maximum capacity of 227 inmates.

Tehama County Jail Visitation
All inmates are allowed two 30-minute visits per week. If time and space permit, inmate workers may have two 60-minute visits per week. Visitation are non-contact. During the 30-minute visiting time, inmates are permitted to have more than one visitor, but the time must be divided between them, one at a time.
All visitors must present a picture ID. Visitors under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
