The Riverside County Inmate Search is operated by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, which allows users to search for detailed information about inmates currently incarcerated in the Riverside County jail facilities. The Sheriff's Office keeps the database updated as the inmate information changes. Using the Inmate Search, users can know the most recent custody status of the inmates. Please note that data contained in this database should not be used as the basis for any kind of legal action.

How to Use Inmate Search to Find Inmates in Riverside County Jail?

You need to enter the last name (at least one letter), first name (at least one letter), and/or date of birth in the search field(s), and click the "Search" button. The last name is mandatory. You can also select the gender of the inmate to narrow the search results. To speed up the search process, enter as much information as possible. Having entered the "Search" button, you will get a new page on which a list of inmate records is displayed. You can see the booking number, name, date of birth, sex, and custody status of the inmates.

If you want to see more details of the inmate, click the link of the booking number. More information will be shown, including his/her hair, eyes, height, weight, arrest date/time, arresting agency, arresting location, booked date/time, case number, bail amount, current facility, housing unit, next court date/time, court name, release date, and charges.

Riverside County Jail Visitation

All inmates are allowed a maximum of two 45-minute visits per week. Visitors should make an appointment for visiting by calling the visiting number, listed on each facility page, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM one day before the desired visiting date.

Visitors under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No more than two adults and two children are allowed to visit an inmate at one time.

Valid picture identification (all forms of government identification cards) must be presented before visiting. Please note that all visitors should dress appropriately.
